Membership
The band are always open to membership enquiries – we have a “Main” band which contests in the second section, PWBB, and a community band, PWBB Concert Brass Band. If you’re interested in joining either of our bands, please email pwbrassband@gmail.com letting us know what instrument you play.
Please note the Main band is a contesting, second section standard band and for membership a brief overview of your playing experience is required. Our Concert band is open to all and has no membership criteria or restrictions, beyond playing a brass band instrument (although trumpet is fine!).
Both our Main and Concert bands rehearse at Ark Putney Academy every Wednesday evening. Concert band rehearses 6:30-7:30pm and Main band 7:45-9:45pm.
Bookings
Regarding hiring the band, we are a local traditional brass band available to hire for events in SW London and beyond. Our music has something for everyone; compromising a variety of genres including brass band classics, film soundtracks, hits from the stage and cheesy pop.
